Second day of rain this entire Autumn, but this time it rained all day. It's supposed to snow tomorrow, then a mix of snow and rain, so that should be fun. Maybe I'll be able to call out sick. Maybe I'll just call out sick anyway, idk.

New CK3 game, I lost more progress to the crash than I thought and it was enough to make me act on the urge to start over. Doing an 867 Denmark start, I usually just decide what to do based off of the decisions you have and the one that interested me was the North Sea Empire, which requires three kingdom titles. And to hold them for a kind of stupid amount of time. You need a lot of land too, but the main thing is just the kingdoms. And I honestly forgot about partition on succession because I'm too used to running empires (where even when you lose titles your borders never shift unless you have enough land to spawn a new empire on death), but that's honestly not a huge problem. The main problem I have right now is actually a short-term one, which is that the Danelaw exists. You can't form the North Sea Empire while the Danelaw is active, meaning you need to conquer all of it and reintegrate all the duchies with England. Which might be a chore considering I'm allied to the guy who founded the Danelaw. Maybe starting over would be the best option, idk. It's not really close to unsalvagable I think.
